InsideOut Coaching: Tools for Team Leaders is a program that turns an ordinary, task-oriented manager into an extraordinary, results-oriented coach for your employees. This program focuses on two primary coaching skills: (1) understanding key elements of human performance and how to influence them, and (2) learning and practicing a process for holding effective coaching conversations with employees to increase engagement and get results.

The coaching process we teach allows the manager to have effective coaching conversations that:

  • Eliminate interference for employees and help them pay attention to critical tasks.
  • Help employees set goals and take responsibility for results.
  • Enable employees to reach for even greater performance.
  • Develop trust and understanding between managers and employees so even difficult or uncomfortable discussions have a positive outcome.


We provide managers with a process for helping employees set, track, and achieve goals. In this program, managers learn to use the GROW Model as a framework for their coaching discussions.

Managers learn to help employees set their own goals and be accountable for results. Managers aren’t dictating the answers; they are allowing employees to find their own solutions, which promotes accountability and engagement from the inside out.
